We’re thrilled to welcome Francisco Weinbach to the Vesta team as our new Business Development Regional Manager for LATAM. Based in Buenos Aires, Francisco brings with him a wealth of experience in tech, venture capital, and law – and a passion for building strong relationships and driving meaningful growth.
We caught up with Francisco to learn more about his background, what drew him to Vesta, and what he enjoys outside of work.
Tell us a bit about yourself and your background
I’m from Buenos Aires, Argentina — and yes, I love football. I got married a couple of years ago, and I’m now the proud dad of a 7-month-old baby boy.
Relationship building and teamwork are at the core of who I am. I enjoy creating synergies that help solve meaningful problems and drive growth. Over the past five years, I’ve worked with tech companies, focusing on business development and improving operations. Most recently, I was part of a venture capital fund, where I had the privilege of working with over 400 startups across various industries and regions.
I started my career in law, working at some of the most prestigious firms in Argentina. Today, I’m completing my MBA and combining my legal and business background to support software companies as part of the Vesta team.
What made you choose Vesta as the next step in your career?
Vesta stood out to me because of its long-term vision and successful track record in acquiring and growing software companies. It’s the perfect blend of two of my passions – technology and M&A.
The chance to help Vesta expand its footprint in LATAM was incredibly appealing, especially given the region’s exciting growth potential. I also saw a huge opportunity to keep learning, particularly within the wider Constellation Software group.
And of course, the team played a big role in my decision. Throughout the interview process, it was clear that the people at Vesta were not only talented, but genuinely collaborative and kind. Now that I’ve joined, that first impression has been completely confirmed.
What are your top three books, podcasts, or series?
Series? Easy – “Friends” and season one of “Prison Break” (best season ever, in my opinion!).
Book? “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie – a classic that never gets old.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Spending time with my family, especially my son, is my number one priority outside of work. I also love catching up with friends, travelling, and staying active. Some of my favourite sports are football, surfing, skiing, and paddle tennis.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
I’d love to be able to sing well. It’s such a powerful way to express emotion – and I admire people who can do it naturally.
What’s your favourite quote?
“Step by step.”
I truly believe that with time, hard work, and clear priorities, everything falls into place.
