Jonas Software enters the UK market with the purchase of Gladstone MRM in the fitness sector. Along with this purchase, Gladstone Education is brought into the group and will become the first acquisition linked to the future Vesta Software Group.
Jonas Software further enhances its presence in the Education sector with the acquisitions of AMI and Tucasi, which would be followed by CRB Solutions and Cunningams Cash Registers in the years after.
CRB Solutions and Cunninghams Cash Registers later merge to become CRB Cunninghams, the largest business unit in the UK.
Jonas moves into two new verticals, Events and Retail POS, with the acquisitions of Showdata Solutions, FashionMaster & EPOS (Invicta Business Machines).
The UK portfolio is restructured, forming what is now known as Vesta Software Group. Tom Baptie joins as Head of Finance, with Richard Clancy (having joined from the original Gladstone acquisition in 2010) as Group Leader.
The portfolio is now made up of 9 companies, following the acquisition of MCR Systems.

The acquisition of Contronics brings us into the healthcare sector, with our portfolio growing to 17 companies.
M&A is completely decentralised and Ken Barragan joins the team to head up the department.
We complete our first dedicated European acquisition after welcoming WM Data, based in Germany, into the group. Our first steps in the Latin American market are also made as GeneXus Consulting & K2B, both based in Uruguay, are acquired.
We complete our third acquisition in Uruguay with Datalogic Software joining the group. This is shortly followed by the acquisition of Qwantec, our first (and Jonas Software's first!) steps into Chile & Peru.
The focus on decentralisation results in the formation of Vesta Software Group LATAM, Jonas Software's first central LATAM team. We also form our own UK HR team, with all central functions now run internally.

It's a year of firsts as we complete our first investment in Central Europe with the acquisition of Béker-Soft Informatika Kft. We also embarked on a strategic expansion into the specialised field of legal technology after acquiring Amisoft Spa. Dataflow Events later joined the Vesta family to expand our presence in the events space.
