As part of our expansion plans in Latin America, we are pleased to welcome Gerónimo Breccia to the Vesta team as an M&A Analyst. We recently sat down with Gerónimo to find out a bit more about him and why he chose Vesta as the next step in his career.
Tell us a bit about yourself and your background
I was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, where I’ve lived my whole life. I completed my Bachelor´s Degree in Economics at the Universidad de Montevideo at the end of 2021 and have been fortunate to gain experience as an Economist in a number of fields, including research and financial services.
I am currently enrolled in a Master’s Degree in Finance at the Universidad Torcuatto di Tella in Buenos Aires, as I wanted to continue developing myself in that field.
What made you choose this role as the next step in your career?
I saw this opportunity with Vesta as a possibility to continue pursuing my professional development goals in the same way as my Master´s Degree. In the short time I´ve been here, I´ve learned tremendously and I´m excited about the opportunity to continue working with this incredible team!
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I’m a huge sports fan and I love to practice them in my free time, especially football. I also love spending time with my friends and family!
Who inspires you?
The first two people I can think of are my parents. They are my inspiration and are the ones who always encourage me to be the best version of myself and strive to achieve my goals.
If you could learn to do absolutely anything, what would it be?
Probably something related to music. I love music but I’m terrible at playing instruments!
