Tell us a bit about yourself and your background
I’m currently in the fourth semester of my Master’s in Business Administration at the University of Bremen, and before that, I completed my Bachelor’s in Economics at Hacettepe University. Professionally, I’ve built my early experience around finance and transactions, including working as an M&A Trainee at PwC.
What I enjoy most is combining analytical thinking with commercial judgment, understanding how businesses create value, what makes an acquisition strategically attractive, and how deals can support long-term growth. That mix of strategy, numbers, and execution is what drew me into M&A and continues to motivate me.
What inspired you to join Vesta, and how do you see yourself contributing to our growth?
What attracted me to Vesta is the opportunity to work in an environment where acquisitions are not just financial transactions, but a key part of long-term value creation. I find that especially interesting in software, where recurring revenue, market positioning, and operational scalability make M&A both analytical and highly strategic.
I see myself contributing by bringing a strong work ethic, analytical discipline, and a willingness to learn quickly. With my academic background in economics and business, combined with my practical exposure to M&A at PwC, I can support the team in evaluating opportunities, conducting market and company research, and helping ensure that decisions are grounded in both data and strategic fit.
What’s one lesson you’ve learned from your experience that you believe is essential for success?
One lesson I’ve learned is that strong results usually come from consistency rather than isolated moments of excellence. In fast-paced environments, being reliable, detail-oriented, and prepared every day matters a lot. Talent is valuable, but discipline, ownership, and the ability to stay calm under pressure are what really build trust and lead to long-term success.
What excites you the most about the M&A space right now?
I’m excited by how dynamic the M&A space is, especially in sectors like software and technology. It sits at the intersection of finance, strategy, and market evolution. Every opportunity is different, so the work never becomes mechanical. You must understand industries, identify value drivers, assess risks, and think about how a business fits into a broader strategic vision. I also find it exciting that M&A has such a direct impact: the analysis and decisions made by the team can genuinely shape a company’s future growth.
What’s a piece of advice you’ve received that’s stuck with you throughout your career?
Focus on being useful, not just impressive. It reminds me that real professional value comes from solving problems, supporting the team, and delivering work that is accurate and actionable. Especially early on in a career, it’s easy to focus on proving yourself, but I’ve found that the best way to grow is to stay humble, keep learning, and consistently contribute where it matters most.
Who inspires you?
One of the people who inspires me most is Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. I really admire his vision, discipline, and determination, as well as his ability to lead with courage during difficult times. More generally, I’m inspired by people who combine ambition with humility and who build lasting success through consistency, strong values, and clear thinking.
What’s your favourite way to spend a Sunday?
My ideal Sunday is a balance between rest and reset. I like having a quiet morning, taking time to reflect, and preparing mentally for the week ahead. I also enjoy spending time with family or close friends, going for a walk, and ending the day in a way that leaves me feeling focused and recharged for Monday.
