We recently welcomed Francisco Figueroa to the Vesta team as a Management Accountant. This week, we caught up with Francisco to find out a bit more about him.
Tell us a bit about yourself and your background
I am an Accountant by profession and currently pursuing an MBA in Administration and Finance at Universidad de Santiago de Chile (USACH). I have more than 15 years of experience working in finance and am a lover of sports and animals – especially dogs!
What made you choose Vesta as the next step in your career?
The size of the group and the wide range of companies in its portfolio were some of the key things that motivated me to join Vesta. Alongside this, I was also impressed by the career development opportunities offered.
What are your top books/podcasts?
I’m typically more of a Netflix fan (I loved Suits!) but a book I would recommend is The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I love sports and try to train at least 2-3 times a week. I also enjoy having barbecues with friends and family.
Who inspires you?
It would have to be my family, especially my grandmother. She managed to raise her 7 children and I’m the son she did not have!
If you could learn to do absolutely anything, what would it be?
